The use of bisphosphonates in dental clinic: a review of the last five years

The bisphosphonates are drugs for synthetics used without treatment of neoplasms and bone, Paget's disease and more reason for excitement in cases of postmenopausal osteoporosis. These drugs resemble some known side effects, however, was recently identified a new complication, with oral manifestation, called Osteonecrosis. When this necrosis of the bone bases is associated to the use of Bisphosphonates, gets its name from Osteonecrosis of MS would expire by Bisphosphonates. The type of bisphosphonate, a route of administration and duration of treatment with these drugs seem to have direct relation with the incidence of osteonecrosis associated with bisphosphonates. The aim of this work was to present a revision last five in relation to available bisphosphonates groups Brazil, emphasizing those used in the treatment of Osteoporosis, associating them to Osteonecrosis of would expire and as possible prior to diagnostic aspects from image Diagnostics. It is the impact of these non-current world stimulated new lines of research looking for the larger of these illnesses, perishes opening its, Qin as best approaches and forms of diagnosis faster, aiming to improve circulation and reduce treatment possible unwanted side effects.
